Rebecca specialises in both criminal and regulatory work; she appears most regularly for the defence.
Rebecca is instructed in criminal cases where offences of serious violence and serious sexual assault have been alleged; she is a confident and persuasive advocate and is well-versed in the need for sensitive and precise cross-examination. She has experience of dealing with child witnesses.
Rebecca has worked for the SFO, the AADB and HMRC and she practises in financial regulation alongside criminal fraud cases. She has worked in offshore jurisdictions and she is familiar with matters of AML, risk management and corporate governance.
Rebecca has an extensive knowledge of environmental law and regularly appears in such cases. She is available for instructions as trial counsel or to provide written advice at any stage or proceedings. She also acts for defendants in Health and Safety cases and where cases have been brought by Trading Standards.
Rebecca has appeared before panels of the NMC, the GMC and the GDC. She regularly appears in both substantive and interim order hearings and has dealt with a range of extremely serious cases.
